Storytime is designed for children ages three through five to foster their love
of books and reading. Each week's theme will be presented through stories, songs,
fingerplays, or crafts. Class size is limited to 25 children.

GET BUGGY WITH HAPPY FACES ENTERTAINMENT

LIBRARY CAMP-IN
Young people will be allowed the rare opportunity to see what happens at the
library after the doors are locked for the day. Kids are welcome to wear their
PJs to an overnight party this July. Magic + movies + pizza + crafts = fun.
Children are encouraged to bring their sleeping bags, pillows, teddy bears,
and parents. In the wee hours of the morning, movies and snacks just for the
grown ups will be available.

The
2008 summer reading program for adults, young adults and children
METAMORPHOSIS
- AN ADULT AND HIGH SCHOOL READING PROGRAM
All things change, whether in appearance, character, condition or function.
Participants in the adult summer reading program will read about changes in
the way we view ourselves and others and about changes that improve and enrich
our lives. Sign up at the library or at Rivendell Bookstore, and any book or
audio title owned by the library or purchased at Rivendell counts toward your
reading goal. Prizes will be awarded to those who complete five, ten and fifteen
items. Random drawings will also provide other opportunities to win. (See the
entry on Life Changing Books to discover additional ways to earn points.)
Ages/Grades: High school age and adults. High school students may receive
up to 100 extra credit points toward next year's English class for the titles
they read.
